How long does shipping take?

Orders placed before 1PM EST, typically ship same day (Mon-Fri). Delivery times can vary depending on the service that you select and the destination. Generally, our standard free shipping option can take 3-8 business days for delivery and our 2-Day option delivers within two business days to most addresses, Monday - Friday. However, please be advised, as stated by the shipping carriers, these delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination address. After placing your order, you may click the "My Account Icon" link at the top right-hand corner of our website to track your order’s status. You will also receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment, to the email address you provided at checkout.

Do you Ship to Foreign Countries?

Yes, we currently ship to over 25 foreign countries. During the checkout process you can add the items that you are interested in, select your country and add your complete address to view several different available shipping options based on weight and destination. Please note that shipping quotes provided at checkout are live rates with no markup for handling but may not include foreign taxes or customs duties. Can I request that my TBG bag only say Mommy or DaddY?

Please note that all of our TBG Deuce 3.0 Diaper Bag and DayPack 3.0 Backpack options do include the corresponding color Mommy and Daddy patches. That said, please note that patches are hook and loop backed (like Velcro®) and do not come attached to your bag.

Do you offer custom patches or nametapes?

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer custom name tape patches. That said, we do recommend . They produce a great product and have tons of options!

Does TBG host a Baby Registry?

Yes! We are proud to offer a universal registry directly on our website powered by My Registry. This universal registry allows you to add products from Tactical Baby Gear or others from any store in the world! Please note that your registry account login will be separate from your Tactical Baby Gear customer account.

Can the Tactical Baby Carrier be worn as a backpack or used with the DayPack 3.0 backpack?

Please be advised that while our DayPack 3.0 and our new Tactical Baby Carrier are designed to be able to be used together or separately, our Tactical Baby Carrier should only be worn in the front carry position and we do not recommend wearing it on your back. Can the child face forwards in the Tactical Baby Carrier?

Yes, our carrier is designed so that the child can sit front or rear facing depending on size. Rear facing for younger children under 6 months old and forward facing as they grow. My husband/wife is a large person; will the Baby Carrier fit?

When we set out to design our TBG Tactical Baby Carrier® 2.0 we wanted to make sure that it would comfortably fit a wide range of body types, large and small. With that in mind, we've equipped our carrier with a unique shoulder strap system that eliminates the need for a restrictive waist strap and provides an ample range of adjustment for a tailored fit. We've tested our new Tactical Baby Carrier on individuals over 6'5" 270lbs as well as under 5'0" 100lbs with great success! We encourage you to try it out, as we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback on this product from thousands of customers!

That said, we know that baby carriers are very personal to both the child and the parent, which makes each user experience different and are therefore happy to offer a no hassle return policy (see link below). If you are not happy with the product for any reason you may return it as long as it is in new condition with tags still attached.

Can I combine/stack discounts on your website?

Where is Tactical Baby Gear Made?

Our guiding principle is to make the best and most accessible baby gear possible. When we started this journey in 2013, we looked for partners with experience producing the unique types of bags we were designing. Our requirements were and are exacting, and in Vietnam we found the expertise, partnership, and professionalism we so rigorously sought.

The level of detail our bags demand in the manufacturing process requires a tremendous amount of skill. This process includes sourcing buckles, zippers, and cloth, but more importantly, it requires bringing these elements together flawlessly. As our many satisfied customers can attest, we do this successfully.

We did not select our chosen vendor lightly. To cement our partnership and ensure top quality production, we regularly visit our factories in person to assure the appropriate attention to detail was applied to all of our products and that the workers were treated ethically.

It’s never been about price or profit. To merely create a bag at the lowest possible cost that failed to meet the demands of parenting would be totally opposite to everything we stand for as a brand. Over the years, we have explored other options for production and have always come back to our existing factory partner. But if we do ever make a change, quality, not cost will be our primary concern.

We are proud of the people we help put to work here in America, both at our South Carolina headquarters and our North Carolina shipping hub. But most of all, we at Tactical Baby Gear® are proud of the many amazing parents our products support. Our goal remains to continue providing new parents with the highest quality products for many years to come.

Are your products machine washable?

Generally we do not recommend washing our products in a washing machine or drying in a machine dryer as some machines can be harder on these types of products than others. (The exceptions to this are the removable bag inside of the Dump Pouch and the washable cotton liner for the Tactical Baby Carrier). For everyday cleaning we suggest using a baby wipe to wipe down the item. If something gets especially dirty, you can use a wet rag with warm soapy water to spot clean and then air dry.

Can I return or exchange my TBG product?

I see that the item that I want is on backorder; how long will it take to arrive?

Please see each individual item page for details on an item’s availability. Backordered items will ship as soon as TBG receives sufficient inventory. We strive to keep accurate information on any product page with a backordered item(s). Also, please feel free to enter your email address on the product page of any backordered item, where it says "Notify Me When Available" and we will let you know as soon as that item has restocked.
