SUPPORT NOT SHAME FOR FIRST-TIME DADS

As a first-time parent, none of us knows what we’re doing. Luckily for first-time moms, there’s a bevy of products and literature out there to make them feel confident in tackling the role of a lifetime, while embodying a new facet of their identity with gusto and confidence. For first-time dads, options are more limited. Why not give them a product, a company, a dad culture, to identify with?

On day one, a newborn is placed into our arms and we are ALL novices, dad and mom alike. Failure is not an option, so we do what we can to ensure success. Just like you might buy a fancy new outfit to dress the part for a new job on your first day, why not buy a bad-ass diaper bag to make you feel like a bad-ass dad? Sometimes looking the part helps you be the part.

Tactical Baby Gear® respects any person's opinion regarding our niche of products. We believe in using our platform to help build up the roles of equality amongst parents and against sexism, never to shame and mock others for simply expressing their personality.

Promoting a "malignant conception of masculinity,” could not be further from our company’s mission. We believe that providing a product that makes any parent more involved in his or her child's life is a positive. It is our hope that men be enthusiastically involved in the childrearing process, and we have set out to develop products to foster that attitude. In a market where many products are female oriented, Tactical Baby Gear® hopes to offer men and fathers-to-be a modern, rugged option for a diaper bag.

Simply put, we offer baby gear for men and women tailored to their unique lifestyle and preference. To paint a group of individuals with such a broad brush by pigeonholing them as “insecure,” is an inflammatory and unfair conclusion. Tactical Baby Gear® will continue to promote equality, speak out against sexism and encourage any parent that wants to be involved in his or her child's life.
