Now, before you roll your eyes all the way to the back of your head, hear us out.

You might be thinking, “Of course you thinkyour own product is the best.” And that’s a fair point. But the fact is, we’ve worked really hard to perfect our diaper bags, and we wouldn’t put our name on them if we didn’t think they were the best.

We’ve gotten a lot of customer reviews that essentially tell us the same thing, but since you’re here, we thought we’d mention a few of the reasons whywe think TBG bags are the best diaper bags on the market.

We started Tactical Baby Gear because we were looking for great diaper bags designed for men, and we just weren’t finding what we were looking for. So, we decided to make our own, and one of our guiding principles has always been to make the kind of products that we, ourselves, would want to use.

And by the way, we’re not saying TBG diaper bags are exclusively for men. We’ve had plenty of moms tell us they think these things are awesome, and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t agree.

Functional and Stylish

One of the big problems we see in other diaper bags is that they either look good, or they work well. Very few do both (and a lot of them do neither). The best diaper bags exist at the intersection of function and style, and we’ve always aimed for that sweet spot. When you need to get the job done and look good doing it, we’ve got you covered.

Rugged

We hope you never have to take your diaper bag into an actual war zone, but we’ve pretty much designed it so that you could if you really needed to. It’s made of heavy-duty 600D tactical polyester, with tough YKK zippers, reinforced stitching, and all that good stuff. We like to think that it’ll still be in good shape long after your babies have grown up and moved out.

Made to be Packed to the Max

One of the things we learn very quickly as parents is that babies require alot of stuff. Seriously, from diapers and wipes to toys and clothes to bottles and pacifiers….it never ends. Plus, you’ll need a snack for them, a snack for you….you get the point.

Long story short, we designed our Tactical Diaper Bags to hold all the stuff you and your littles would ever need. Our Daypack 3.0, for example, has a capacity of 28L, and it makes ample use of every inch of that space.

A Comfy Carry

So, yea, all that stuff we talked about just now can get kinda heavy. Hence, we wanted to make diaper bags that are actually comfortable.

Our packs incorporate features like body-contoured shoulder straps, removable waist straps, and closed-cell foam padding for structure and comfort. Plus, the mesh-covered back padding is breathable, which helps you avoid the dreaded sweaty-back situation.

Easy to Organize

Early diaper bags were basically just duffel bags with, at best, a couple of dividers and maybe a side pocket or two. They’ve come a long way, but way too many diaper bags are still frustratingly basic.

This is one of the major things we set out to change with our TBG diaper bags. In addition to the spacious main compartment, there are also multiple exterior pockets, two side bottle pockets, and three tiers of interior organizing pockets to keep all your precious supplies organized and easily accessible when you need them.

Water Resistant

All the baby supplies in the world won’t do you a bit of good if they’re soaking wet. This is an area where having a well-built tactical diaper bag has a real advantage over lower-quality bags. All TBG bags are water-resistant, and can help you and your family get through all kinds of stormy weather on any adventures that you have.

Carry-On Approved

Taking your kids on a plane for the first time (or any subsequent time) can be….quite an experience. We can’t promise that it will be stress-free, but one thing youwon’t have to worry about is whether your diaper bag will fit in the overhead compartment. The Daypack 3.0 measures 20" x 11" x 8", making it 100% carry-on approved.

Multiple Carry Options

A lot of diaper bags are pretty rigid when it comes to how you can carry them. We’re not really into that, so we designed our diaper bags so that you can carry them any way you want. We know that even someone who typically just grabs the bag by the handle will sometimes need the shoulder straps for days of busy adventure.

In addition to the shoulder straps, our Daypack 3.0 diaper bag has an easy grab handle for top or side carry. Our smaller Deuce 3.0 diaper bag is designed as a sling-style bag that can be carried over one shoulder, but the shoulder strap is also fully removable, so you can cart it around using the attached handle without the strap dangling and getting in the way.

Built-In Changing Mat

You know the drill. Wherever you are, when that diaper needs to be changed, it needs to be changedstat. That’s why we built a changing mat right into our Daypack 3.0, ensuring that you’ll never be without a safe, clean place to get the job done.

The pack is designed with one of our ‘Drop Zone’ changing mats built into the back panel. It’s made of water-resistant, PVC-lined 600D tactical polyester just like the pack itself, with a 210D nylon padded changing area. The sling-style Deuce 3.0 diaper bag is also available as a set with its own changing mat.

Easy to Clean

Speaking of changing, diaper bags are exposed to all sorts of super gross stuff, from mud and spilled formula to spit-up and….well, you know. (We didn’t call our sling pack the Deuce for nothing.)

The point is, it helps if your diaper bag is made of a material that’s easy to clean and sanitize. The polyester and nylon we use in our bags fits that bill nicely.  

MOLLE Compatible

You just gotta love MOLLE. As much storage space as you already have inside our tactical diaper bags, you can add even more thanks to the rows of heavy-duty MOLLE webbing on the front and sides.

You can use that webbing to attach any MOLLE-compatible accessories you want, and we make a lot of cool extras so you can really turn your bag into a tricked-out ride. Tactical utility pouches, cooler pouches, and baby wipe pouches are just a few possibilities!
