Yes, the S-1 is intended to work with newborns. It is car seat compatible with most of the major brands, you can also place them in the bassinet (sold separately) to be pushed while laying or napping.

We recommend waiting a little while before using the toddler seat, but we do have an comfort insert available that goes into the seat to give them additional support while they're still small.

I don't know what you drive, but I'd say yes.

It folds to be 25x15x23 which is much smaller than most strollers it's class, and about half the size of something like an Uppa Baby Vista where you need an SUV for the stroller and hopefully you have room left over for the rest of your stuff.

Jogger's are great for just that, jogging. They have huge wheels, but that makes it less compact for everyday use. They generally have air filled tires, (that are usually flat.) They're often built like tanks, great, but heavy and from my experience hard to fold.

Yes, this can be gate checked, and truthfully the airlines prefer you gate check strollers rather than using the overhead bin anyways.

There's usually not enough room even for the strollers that are advertised to fit, you're usually competing with 200 other peoples suite cases.

The adapters are only included if you buy the newborn or bassinet bundles.
